The BEMER Youngclassics 2024 will take place this year from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8. The junior race for the U17 age group covers 4 stages of varying lengths. On the last two stages, the young riders can also expect some sprint and mountain classifications.

Leon Resag takes overall victory at the BEMER Youngclassics 2024
Due to several rescue operations, the 4th stage of the BEMER Youngclassics unfortunately had to be canceled. The overall victory therefore goes to the leader after stage 3 - the German Leon Resag from Team LV Brandenburg. His teammate Onno Bieberle took second place in the overall classification and third place went to Owen Kings from Team VfR Büttgen.
The Belgian Mauro Keppens (Isorex Cycling Team) won the mountain classification and Simon Santana-Grammerstorf (Young Lions Nord) came out on top in the sprint classification. The best rider of the younger age group was the Norwegian Bjørnar Dahle Flesjå (NCF RegionVest). The best team is that of the overall winner, LV Brandenburg.
The 3rd stage of the Youngclassics goes to Simon SANTANA-GRAMMERSTOR
At 70 kilometers, the third stage of the BEMER Youngclassics was the most demanding this year. After a mass crash not long after the start, in which the winner of this stage was also involved, the German Simon Santana-Grammerstot (Young Lions North) was able to fight his way back to the front and won with 1 hour, 39 minutes and 15 seconds. Second and third place went to Julius Lovstrup Birkedal (Isorex Cycling Team) and Lenny Karstedt (LV Sachsen).
The previous overall leader Leon Resag (LV Brandenburg) was able to defend his yellow jersey and will also wear it tomorrow in the final stage. The mountain jersey went to Mauro Keppens (Isorex Cycling Team) and the sprint classification was won by Simon Santana-Grammerstot (Young Lions Nord).
LV BRandenburg wins the team time trial
At the 2nd stage of the BEMER Youngclassics on Saturday, September 7th, the team time trial was on the program. Team LV Brandenburg narrowly won the race with 14 minutes, 52 seconds and 53 hundredths. Second place went to the boys from VfR Büttgen and third place to the Isorex Cycling Team.
The yellow jersey thus went to Leon Resag (LV Brandenburg), who pushed the winner of yesterday's stage - Owen Kings - into second place.
Owen Kings wins the 1st stage of the BEMER Youngclassics
The German Owen Kings from Team VfR Büttgen won the first stage of the BEMER Youngclassics - the individual time trial - on September 6th. Another German, Leon Resag from TeamLV Brandenburg, came second. Third place went to Dutch rider Splinter Van 't Hoff (Westland Wil Vooruit).
Tomorrow the pros of tomorrow have two stages on the program, a team time trial and a race over 70 kilometers.
