Olav Kooij wins the BEMER Cyclassics 2024

The 27th edition of the BEMER Cyclassics Hamburg took place on September 8, 2024. Despite a shortened course, spectators were able to watch an exciting race, which was ultimately decided in a bunch sprint. Dutchman Olav Kooij from Team Visma - Lease a Bike managed to come out on top and finished the race in first place with a time of 3 hours, 39 minutes and 49 seconds. Second place went to the Italian Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), who also shone with his performance at the last Lidl Deutschland Tour. Third place went to the Eritrean Biniam Girmay (Intermarché Wanty), who was celebrated by the fans on the finishing straight. The sprint classification of the BEMER Cyclassics 2024 was won by the Dane Michael Mørkøv (Astana Qazaqstan Team) and the mountain classification went to the Spaniard Alex Aranburu (Movistar Team).
